Swimming Pools

The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club boasts four pools guaranteeing a splashing good time for all. Families will enjoy a large, multi-purpose pool featuring a youth-friendly water depth ranging from 1" at the very shallow end to 5 1/2 feet at the deep end, a fun seven foot high water slide, a separate laned area for swim team competitions and a children's wading pool.

The Lodge features two heated pools for guests to enjoy—one overlooking the ocean and an olympic-sized six-lane lap pool, located at the Fitness Center.

Sailing

Nothing could be more exhilarating than slicing through the blue Atlantic in a catamaran.

Consider renting a Hobie Wave catamaran on your next visit and join in on the fun. Our Beach Rentals Staff has catamarans available and, if necessary, captains as well.

Bicycling

Freedom to travel, to explore and to expand your horizons... enjoy a ride along the flat, palm dotted beach or through the tree shaded lanes of Ponte Vedra's fabulous community while pedaling a bicycle.

Adult and children's style bicycles are available for rent.

Fishing

Florida is one of the greatest places on Earth for fishing, and Ponte Vedra Beach is in the heart of it all.

Cruise the inland waters for flounder, bass, trout and the famous Florida snook, or take an exciting deep-sea charter into the deep waters for big game!Serious fishermen return year after year for the great times catching grouper, marlin, red snapper and sailfish. You might even land a shark!

Qualified captains that know these waters will take you to their favorite locations and get you rigged for some serious fishing!

Trips can easily be arranged for fishing excursions in the Atlantic, or inshore fishing along the Intracoastal Waterway. Half day and full day guided excursions are available for individuals as well as party boats and charter boats. Early morning beach fishing is also popular and just a short walk from your suite.

Lagoon Sports

Tom Sawyer never had it this good! You can borrow our fishing gear and bait and spend the afternoon trying to coax bass, brim and speckled perch onto your hook from the grassy banks of the winding waterways, or take advantage of our canoes which are available for rent.

Enjoy good fun and good exercise while boating through Ponte Vedra's scenic mosaic of lagoons.

Horseback Riding

After a day of sun, a casual horseback ride in the shade may be just the thing. Or, if you're accustomed to a little more action, you might enjoy a walk and trot ride along the beach.The beautiful Florida shoreline offers a scenic route for a leisurely horseback ride along the coast.

For those who wish to savor every moment of the Florida sunshine, a sunset ride is the perfect way to end the day. Those with more experience can get off of the beaten path and into the beautiful Florida wild with guided trail rides.
