The Golf Academy was created with the purpose of advancing the game of golf through instruction. Here the curriculum is as varied as are the students who enroll.

Beginners to the game are introduced to the fundamentals and basic skills necessary to immediately start playing and enjoying the experience. Mid-handicappers are placed on a more accelerated learning track where advanced swing theories are reviewed and practiced with cutting strokes being the ultimate goal. Low-handicappers can expect a more detailed, technical approach to the game where sophisticated concepts are fully explored.

The Academy recognizes that different students learn in different ways. Therefore, each program is designed to cater to individual learning styles.

The Academy utilizes the most current technology to support the teaching of techniques.

Upon enrollment, each student will receive a high-speed, stop-action videotape analysis of their golf swing. Using an oversized television monitor, student and instructor can then observe swing flaws and make immediate corrections as needed.
 

The video split-screen feature, allows students to actually compare their swing style side-by-side with the world's best players. A number of specialized swing training aids are also used by the staff to assist in the learning process.
 

A superb practice facility which includes a driving range, putting green, chipping green and sand bunker area further complements the instructional effort.

In addition to the golf instructional staff, a certified personal fitness trainer and a nationally respected sports psychologist will be contributing their expertise to the Academy.

The fitness trainer will discuss the physical aspects of golf and make recommendations of sport specific exercises to increase both flexibility and strength. The sports psychologist will assist each student in achieving peak performance through relieving anxiety and distractions while improving upon concentration and confidence.

The Golf Academy welcomes all those with an interest in further developing their level of performance in golf. Programs are designed for male and female, juniors and senior.
