Lodge Honored Among World's Best

Travel & Leisure magazine, one of the leading consumer travel publications, has just released its 2007 Reader's Poll of the World's Best Hotels (August '07 issue) and The Lodge & Club was selected as the #54 most popular hotel in North America and the #4 most popular hotel in Florida. The survey measured the quality of guest rooms, service, food/restaurants as well as facilities for families and business travelers. Nancy Novogrod, editor-in-chief of Travel + Leisure said, "this year's results underline T+L readers' ever-increasing embrace of distinctive and authentic experiences." Others to make the prestigious list include The Peninsula in Beverly Hills, The St. Regis in New York City and The Bellagio in Las Vegas.

New Lobby Debuts

The major renovation and enhancement to The Lodge & Club's entrance and Lobby is now complete and the comments have been overwhelmingly positive. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with dramatic Italian stone floors, hand carved furniture from the Tommy Bahama signature collection, Karastan area carpets and elaborate window treatments. Warm tones of gold and russet complement the room's sophisticated allure while a Lobby gift shop is a welcome addition. The spacious lobby, measuring more than 3,000 square feet in size, also features wireless internet access for today's business traveler.
